July 18 finally brings the annual summer event, with No Sweat bringing special challenges, modes, and cosmetics for players to enjoy. On top of that, there’s another new weapon to wield on the island, as the Overload Shotgun makes its debut in the game.

With plenty to get your teeth into, here are the full Fortnite 21.30 patch notes.

Fortnite No Summer Sweat

As always, Epic Games is bringing a summer vibe to Fortnite, with 2022 seeing the introduction of the latest in-game event, No Sweat Summer.

After Cosmic Summer and 14 Days of Summer in previous years, No Sweat Summer should add quests with 15,000 XP rewards.

Along with this, special summer-themed cosmetics are available for the duration of the event.

When it gets a little too hot on the island, there’s no better way to cool off than with ice cream!

These new consumables will help players recover health when eaten, and also come with additional side effects. The Spicy Ice Cream Cone provides a speed boost, while the Frozen Cone will make everything slippery and allow you to slide.

Finally, Lil’ Whip’s special serve will replenish both your health and your shields, and could be very useful in battle.

First shotgun

If getting close to your enemies is your style, the good news is that Epic has added an all-new Prime shotgun to the game.

The Prime Shotgun comes in five rarities (Uncommon, Rare, Epic, Legendary, and Mythic), dealing 79 to 101 damage per second depending on the rarity.
