OSRS Gold for Quests

The Shield of Arrav quest is a medium duration quest of novice difficulty. It is not the one that will cause you too much trouble or OSRS GP, but there are some factors to consider. Of course, you will need 20 OSRS Gold for this, but the only main requirement for the quest is that you have a player with you who you can trust. This is the key to being successful in the quest, so be sure to pick someone who is close to you or a player you can rely on.

How to start the quest?

This quest begins by traveling to Varrock Palace. Go to the library to speak with Reldo. Around here you will notice that there is a bookcase with a bright blue book on it. Start reading it, then come back and talk to Reldo.

Now in the future you have two choices of gangs to join. You will need both halves of the shield to complete this quest. It’s not about finding the right one OSRS items for salebecause we have to go through to find a vital quest piece to get our reward. Next, we’ll see what you need to do to join each of these gangs. Let’s start with the Phoenix Gang.

How to join the Phoenix gang

Go to Varrock Square and talk to Baraek. You’ll find him at the fur trade site here, so talk to him to find out more about the gang. From this point we will move on to the hideout itself, which is also in Varrock. To access it, head southeast to the building in the lower corner. Those who cannot locate this place should go west to Mage of Zamorak. Inside, you will need to take a ladder to the basement.

Then talk to Straven here, after which you’ll need to go to the Blue Moon Inn in Varrock to get an information report. With that in mind, the Blue Moon Inn is our next destination where we’ll have to kill Jonny la Barbe. After that, take the report back to Straven. You will now be part of the Phoenix Gang, which means we can finally get our hands on the shield. To do this, head to the southwest area of the hideout to locate a chest. Open it to get half of Arrav’s Shield. Now you can go to your friend or player partner to trade with them to get the weapon store key.

How to join the gang of black arms

Alternatively, you can get a Half Shield by joining the Black Arm Gang. While staying in the Varrock area, go to the entrance to the south and talk to Charlie the Tramp. Once you’ve done that, head down the alley to find the Black Arm Gang’s hideout. Speak to Katrine here, before swapping your partner for the weapon store key you need.

Return to Varrock and go southeast. You will eventually locate another ladder in a room that is part of the Altar of Chaos building. You will have the key at this point, which we must use to move up the ranks here. After climbing this ladder, you can either use your telekinetic grabbing technique to get your hands on the Pheonix crossbows, or take down the Weapons Master yourself. Whichever method you choose, we’ll return to Katrine with them.

Doing this will make you a member of the Black Arm Gang, which means we can go upstairs to collect half the shield. There should be a closet near the stairs that contains the other half of the shield. Take it back to the Varrock Museum from here to find Curator Haig Halen and talk to them. Your partner will now need to exchange their half of the certificate to you so that you can combine it to create the completed certificate. Our last stop is King Roald in the castle, to whom you must deliver the certificate. Doing this will complete the quest.

Here you have completed the OSRS Shield of Arrav quest. If you have a trusted partner, it makes the process a lot easier. You also won’t have to worry about going out and buying OSRS gold to get ready. Another reliable player is your main objective for this quest. Get that and you will soon be reaping the GP OSRS rewards, quest points, and even kudos to claim at the Varrock Museum.
