In the United States, customer experience consultancy Searchspring has raised an undisclosed sum from investment firm PSG, which it will use to develop its product innovation and for marketing expansion – both in United States and internationally.

Searchspring promises e-tailers the ability to create “the ultimate shopping experience” and facilitate better product discovery through on-site semantic search capabilities. The company’s data and reports give merchants detailed insight into shopper behavior and search performance, and help target the right product to the right shopper at the right time. Two years ago, the company acquired 4-Tell, the company behind the Smart Commerce AI-based personalization platform.
